“There was a small 10’x10’ patch of tall weeds (actually unwanted, wild poppies) among our rose trees at the entrance leading from the main parking lot to the sanctuary. I had been gone for a while and the weeds were ugly and did not give a good impression to people coming to worship. Today, of course, is Ash Wednesday, and we have several worship services and usually a large number of attendees. It was too late to pull together volunteers so I asked Sergio if they could help me and pull most of the weeds. This is not an area that is covered in the contract, I don’t think. Yet, they quickly did the work and the area looks much better thanks to them.”
